Limit active download torrents qbittorrent
Download was stalled until I restarted the qbittorrent. This seems to be a really persistent bug. The reason I'm here is because I'm afflicted too. We should put out heads together and figure out what setting s causes the instability.
Does anyone know if pre-allocating files improves the issue? I found a bunch of duplicate issues that all went dead, but this issue has been around since before 4. Same problem here with v4. This use to not be an issue with earlier versions. Lots of seeders, Keeps stalling even after reset, reboot, and disk is not full. Only a recheck puts things back in order.
This is an issue with qBittorrent. I had Stalled status when I tried to download to a folder that wasn't on the disk it was, but I deleted it before the program started. When I chose the right destination, everything was fine. I think that qBittorrent should handle such situations, not agree to download into a folder that doesn't exist.
It is neither a "good" nor "bad" thing on its own. For example, if you are seeding but there simply are no peers requesting the files, the torrent will be "stalled" more specifically in this case, in the "stalled uploading" state. However, a torrent will also "stall" if there are peers online, but you cannot connect to them. If you believe this is due to a problem in qBIttorrent and not with said other peers, feel free to submit an issue for the specific problem you observe.
In general, stalling is "bad" when you think it should not be stalling , i. I'm closing this issue because this is really a support question that should have been closed long ago.

Windows 10 or 11 shouldn't matter i think, honestly not sure though. If I had to pick one I'd probably pick qbittorrent too. Also, if you have an anti-virus protecting your system, you might want to disable it for a few mins and then try force resuming the same torrent or restart the qbittorrent app and then download the torrent again.
